Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is the smallest number of units of a product that is required in order to be produced.
This is the total number of orders spread across all customers. For example, if the MOQ is 3, it does not matter if Person A orders 3 of item or if Person A, Person B and Person C order 1 each, the total number of orders is 3 and thus MOQ has been met.
The MOQ has to be met in order to green light the item into production. If the MOQ is not met, production will be canceled and the item will be refunded.
